Well, we're back from our four-dayer. What a trip! In spite of shifty door guys, bad promoters, late starts (one club had us on at 1am), fistfights (not involving us), kick-outs, kick offs, and many other weird things we don't usually see on our outings- the shows were electrifying. And, through all the aforementioned muck, the road brought us to many friends we love and never see often enough. We definitely want to give extra thanks to Doug Morrison, Abdul, Matty & th' Kaza Krew DC, Brad Fullilove, Verrastro, Dan Searing, Mike D., Shawn Kelly, Dark Sea Dream, Moira, Travellin' Trav, Beloved Rogue, Aric Grez, Jinsen, Lady Bree, Oweinima, the guy who left that painting out on the street in brooklyn that gave us two hours of drawing-over fun, Don Pedro, Jeremy and Diana, Brad & Christine Hyland, and Joe Turner (Lights Alive!)... and thanks to everyone else who came and hung and gets it. I realized on this trip that it has been ten years since this little thing started growing into an active entity and it really means a lot to see so many people who have been there along the way in whatever capacity. It's beautiful. Great seeing the rest of the Green St. Crew! Wow!! and Hacker!
We got a lot done in this little trip and Jordan Of Gondola came and helped too which was awesome. We're doing a show in Philly in december- more details as they come, and hunkering in the bunker working on new songs and getting ready for the holidays in the coming weeks.
"Freezer-Burn in the Fever-Fields" is due to be up on apolloaudio.com any day now so keep checking in.
